Open WebUI + Aethon

Open WebUI is a self-hosted ChatGPT-like interface. Connect it to Aethon to chat with Llama, Mistral, Qwen, and 30+ open-source models through a polished web UI — powered by Aethon's distributed GPU network.

Option 1: Docker (Recommended)

Run Open WebUI with Aethon as the OpenAI-compatible backend:

  -e OPENAI_API_KEY=your-aethon-key \
  -v open-webui:/app/backend/data \
  --name open-webui \

Then open http://localhost:3000 in your browser.

Option 2: Existing Install

If you already have Open WebUI running, add Aethon as an OpenAI-compatible connection:

  1. 01Go to Settings (gear icon in sidebar)
  2. 02Click Connections
  3. 03Under OpenAI API, set the URL to https://api.aethon.ai/v1
  4. 04Enter your Aethon API key
  5. 05Click Save

Aethon's models will appear in the model dropdown. Select any model and start chatting.

Once connected, these models (and more) will be available in Open WebUI:
